Why it matters

Florida air wants to sweat on your pipe

A chilled water line runs near 44°F. Our summer dew point sits in the 70s. Any gap in the vapor seal lets humid air reach the cold steel, and the result is dripping ceilings, wet insulation, mold and corrosion. Every layer we install is there to stop that.

  1. 1Jacket. Aluminum, stainless or PVC that protects the system from sun, weather and traffic.
  2. 2Vapor retarder. A continuous seal with lapped and sealed seams, the layer that keeps moisture out.
  3. 3Insulation. Fiberglass, elastomeric, cellular glass or mineral wool, sized to the specified thickness.
  4. 4The pipe. Chilled water, hot water, domestic, refrigerant or condensate.

    Submittals

Product data and thickness schedules sent early so approvals don't hold up the schedule.

  4. STEP 4

    Install

We coordinate with your PM, superintendent and foreman, follow pressure testing and work clean so trades behind us can keep moving.

  5. STEP 5

    Closeout

Punch list done, documentation handed over, and a finish you can show the owner.
